About Shellshocked:

The Broken Brown Egg launched our Shellshocked Support Group in 2012 as a virtual community for those navigating or questioning their fertility.  It has grown to become a trusted staple for those seeking not only information but empowerment and community.

You are welcome here.

Infertility and Reproductive Health matters are often taboo in communities of color.  Without conversation and connection, many of us find ourselves overwhelmed, anxious, and isolated.  Let's support one another at all the crossroads of this path.  

• Gain a safe, secure place to get answers, rant, rave, or just let it all out.

• Speak to people who have been or are exactly where you are!

• A portion of every paid membership goes towards the nonprofit work of the BBE, including financing scholarships and grants for the community!

• We need your voice!  Someone, somewhere, thinks that no one understands what they're going through.  Your story could change that. 

Shellshocked is for you if:

• You have questions about your own fertility or reproductive health.
• You want to become a better support to someone you love that is battling infertility or other reproductive health issues.
• You are or would like to better support Black women and other people of color on their fertility journey.  Infertility doesn't see color, but it does affect how we experience it.  
• You're a service provider, advocate, or clinician who wants to better understand what patients are truly concerned about and build bridges between the community and your profession.
